Average college bar. Will randomly switch up drink special throughout the night. So now that 2-4$ drink turns into a 9$ drink.

Their alcohol promoters they have are some of the most annoying people ive dealt with.

I got asked "did you know we are having a 2.50$ rolling rock special?" 3 times in 1 minutes.

Drink promoters there essential force their drink down your throat.

Sometimes when I poop, I make a huge poop, but when I go to flush, there is no poop in the bowl!

That is what it feels like every time I go to Maloney's.

Upon entering, we were greeted with a friendly smile from bartender Jessica.  She was very customer service oriented, attentive and personable.  Unfortunately, her shift was ending and another bartender was coming on duty.  This is where the night turned sour.  The next bartender, Maya, was not so friendly and surely not personable.  I don't know if she had a bad evening, prior to arriving for her shift, or if she is always like this.  If I have to swing my arms around and get sarcastic in asking to get another beer, that is where I end my evening at the establishment and take my money elsewhere.  The bar wasn't even full at this point, so there was no excuse for a bartender to not be attentive. Words of advice for bartender Maya: "You have a job because people want to come and sit at your bar; they want to drink. Your livelihood is based on your guest. Understand that simple fact about bartending, and all other points of good customer service will make sense. You're there for every guest in the establishment, and especially every guest at the bar."

Inexpensive drinks, convenient location, lots of character with interior design, small crowd. If you're looking for something relaxed and quieter you may consider Maloney's.

This used to be a great bar to go to at night and they do a great deal on Tuesday nights. BUT NEVER USE YOUR CARD THERE. they always charge you more than they are supposed to and if they don't initially, they will charge you more after you sign your receipt and up charge your tip ALMOST EVERYTIME!!
